Big sports day in our household; my daughter and the Franklin girl's softball team won a close one over an extremely tough Oak Creek squad for the District 6 championship. After losing the first game of the tournament to that same Oak Creek team, the Franklin girls won their next five in a row to claim the crown.
Nice work, girls - and a big THANKS to coaches Joe Carr, Willie Versnik, Scott Bauer and Dianna Fredrickson.
