Two pieces of good news:
Monday's meeting with Franklin Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Patz went very well, and we can expect collaboration with the school district when applying for Safe Routes to School grant funds.
On Tuesday night, "Request from Trail Committee for approval to proceed with the grant writing and application process for community planning related to trails and pedestrian routes" was passed unanimously by the Common Council.
The Franklin Trail Committee meets tonight to keep the ball rolling.
