Thanks for the blog entry on this topic. I, for one, can definitely say I disagree with Mr. Keller, and do so the same day he posted his entry rebutting mine.

People out here definitely DO want some class to the stores they shop. Yeah, Target might sell my underwear....but that doesn't mean I want the crummiest looking version in my community.

It's about a sense of pride local residents must have, or at least begin to have. Brookfield shares this to the most extreme extent - my blog covers today how they rejected a COLOR on the building...WHEN IT WAS ALMOST DONE!

Franklin can do this and should do this. Franklin residents do have character and are NOT the ordinary joe schmo you see in worse parts of town.
