From the Fountains of Franklin press release:
Devo Properties, LLC announced that Bank Mutual and the upscale DQ Grill & Chill restaurant will occupy space at the Fountains of Franklin development.
The upscale DQ Grill & Chill, that is.
Nothing against Grill & Chill (it'll actually be a pretty nice establishment to have handy for nearby neighborhoods), but I think the developers in this town need to get together and come up with a more stringent set of guidelines for use of adjectives like "upscale" and - Mark Carstensen's favorite - "classy." Perhaps a good definition for an "upscale" eating establishment would be: Could you take a first date there without being ironic?
Here's the "upscale" menu:
Remember these?
Let's not forget that there will be a Starbucks and possibly a Qdoba over at Wyndham Village.
As I've been saying since the announcement - every development has to have some kinda fast food joint these days - at least it looks better than those "hat" buildings DQ has! :)
