UPDATE: You can't buy a Hula Hoop at Target, but you CAN buy one at ...

... Sendik's Fine Foods.

For my daughter's birthday party, we needed a Hula Hoop (of course). My wife visited two Target stores - no Hula Hoops to be found (though she did manage to pick up some other stuff we needed while there - - hence the power of the big box as described here).

Today, while buying food for the party, she spotted a whole display full of Hula hoops at, of all places, Sendik's.

So, while you can't buy a Batmobile at Sendik's, you can buy a Hula Hoop.
