You reap what you sow. After months of strongly implying to his followers that Obama is "Un-American," an embarrassed McCain is now forced to attempt to control the monster he and Palin have created.

This is just another example of John McCain lurching from one position to another, as if he really has no coherent campaign strategy.

Actually, it makes me wonder who's running his campaign....a bunch of monkeys?

I tend to believe McCain is truly embarrassed by the negativity that has become rampant among his followers. But, you play with matches, you're gonna get burned.

And, furthermore, I read an interesting piece recently (forgot where, unfortunately) wherein the author described McCain's use of TACTICS vs. STRATEGY. I found that to be a profound insight.
