We can only hope that the momentary dip in gas prices (timed for the election) doesn't obscure our need to create sane transportation options. Perhaps the hope of higher home values will spark forward momentum.

John you crack me up. For a guy that is wise beyond his years in so many subjects, to write the statement that lower gas prices are, "timed for the election" is just rediculous.
I'm going to assume you don't really believe that.
