At FranklinNOW, "State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin)" (does anyone believe for a moment she actually writes "her" blog?) once again reinforces her position on Milwaukee Magazine's list of worst legislators by linking to a news article she (or whomever is writing her blog) obviously didn't bother to read.
"Cleveland RTA Struggling", the blog proclaims. Therefor, "Wisconsin communities should think long and hard before developing RTA’s."
Had "she" bothered to read beyond the headline of the article "she" links to from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, "she" would have learned:
And:
In 2008, ridership remained relatively flat, even as it increased at other transit agencies across the country because of high gas prices.
Embarrassing. Not one for nuance, that "Mary Lazich." Or basic competence, it seems.
Why in the world would anyone take her seriously at this point? Bookmark "her" blog and follow the reliable madness.
I don't read the blog in question, but there is such a vast amount of information in the world today. One does have to skim. However, skimming is a skill like any other and must be done well. Sounds like this chick hasn't figured it out yet.

You forget that this woman also has a STAFF to do research for her. And to make blanket assertions in the manner that she does with her apparent minimal grasp of the issues is irresponsible and very telling as to the weakness of her overall position.
